We were quite frankly amazed to see our tomatoes are actually growing in the garden. But we are not at all surprised by the growth of our students. Watching our international students Interact by themselves in English is always a proud moment. It's also lovely to see our students constantly being first. We had our first performance of "Children around the world" today. They sang well and used their developing drama skills to express themselves as part of our 'Who we are' unit.
The playgroup worked really hard on our 'Farmyard' project this week. We learned sounds, movements and played games all themed to the animals from the farm.
What a great week for us, enjoy your long weekend!
Don't forget to join our fashion show next week.
Our new uniforms just look amazing!
Having an early morning tea party!
Our first performance for the playgroup
Welcome to our new students!
Mira, Kyle, Caitlin, James, Hebe, Yusei, Yuki and Margaret.
Our activities are carefully thought out to encourage our students to do the work themselves. Kyle pressed coloured paper onto his lantern to make an effect and placed the stickers by himself. You can see how proud he is of his work!
