Professor Kenneth Cheng
Graduated from the Simon Fraser University in Canada in 2002, Dr. Kenneth Cheng first earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree (first class honors) from the Faculty of Applied Science majoring in Systems Engineering (Biomedical Engineering Stream), and minoring in Kinesiology and Computer Science. In 2006 and 2012, he received his Master's of Applied Science and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Toronto, respectively. After working a year at the Institute of Human Performance, University of Hong Kong as a Post-doctoral Fellow, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Chinese University of Hong Kong in December 2013. He is currently responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to anatomy and biomechanics, and his research interests are aging, balance and mobility, motor control and development, as well as fall prevention.
With Dr Cheng's knowledge of human development and network in the academic world, his input would be of great value to Hamilton Hill.
Mr. David McMaster
David McMaster is the former headmaster of the Canadian International School in Hong Kong. Previous to that, he was the principal of the West Vancouver Secondary School for 4 years. David was educated at Queens University in Kingston Ontario where he completed a bachelor of Education. David is a keen sportsman and active member of the Canadian community in Hong Kong. With an education heavyweight like Dave, he will surely bring a wealth of educational knowledge and experience to our team!
